2019 'Magic Quadrant for Hyperconverged Infrastructure'

Gartner has announced for the second time its Magic Quadrant for Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), and has noted Scale Computing as a niche player. As one of the early pioneers to launch HCI back in 2012 at VMworld - and the only one still privately held, independent, and on the cusp of profitability - it’s great to once again be recognized in this focused HCI MQ.

We’re in our 10th year of business and sixth year of offering our HC3 product as an integrated, self-healing solution for running applications at the edge that encompasses virtualization, hyperconverged storage, disaster recovery, and automated management. We believe the importance of edge computing has grown significantly and positioning Scale Computing along both axes of the Quadrant, validates the importance of this niche and Scale Computing's leadership in it.

"It’s been a busy year for Scale Computing as we launched our HC3 Edge, developed new partnerships around edge computing with Lenovo and Schneider Electric, and have shown particular customer strength in global retailers and manufacturers. We appreciate Gartner recognizing Scale Computing's focus on edge computing and helping companies revolutionize I.T. in environments with limited resources."
